Professional Training for All
The NTI provides computing, maths and technology training via a great range of Short Courses, giving you access to top quality teaching and facilities. Short Courses operate at varying levels from starter to masters, all at University standard. Study is flexible too, ranging from a few hours a week to intensive week long programmes, while course entry costs are very modest.
Our Short Courses are open to anyone who wants to learn new skills at a challenging level. You may be an individual already in work, looking for self-improvement or an employer with specific skills requirements. Either way you can trust us to put your training needs first.
Training you can Afford
There are plenty of companies who offer good quality training and development programmes but they can be expensive, both for employers with several people to train in different skillsets and for individuals. By offering places on our degree modules as short courses, we can provide university-level teaching, from academic experts in their fields, at highly competitive rates. So now you really can afford the specialised training you need.
Wide range of Courses
Click the Computing and Maths links above to see the full range of Short Courses available. The courses fall into two broad categories. In all cases you sit alongside full-time students attending these same modules as part of their degree course.
- Undergraduate modules, flagged as Starter, Intermediate or Advanced to indicate their level, typically run for 11 weeks from September or January and involve 4 hours attendance a week plus private study.
- Postgraduate modules are listed as Masters level. These are week-long blocks of daytime teaching and also require some private study.
